You've seen them.
People obsessively checking their phones and tablets for text messages, Facebook, and Twitter - so distracted by their so-called digital life that they make real life hard for those around them.
You've heard them.
Those talking heads in the media who claim to keep you informed, but are really just overloading you with useless trivia. It used to be media people went out, observed, and reported. Now most of them keep their pampered butts parked at their desk, and use tweets and Facebook posts as sources. (Some don't even bother working them into a story. They just read the tweets and posts verbatim on TV or copy them directly into their articles.)
You've met them.
Those co-workers, bosses, friends, even family members who not only are NOT supportive of your effort to make your life better, but seem to go out of their damn way to UNDERMINE your every attempt. Some even come to you under the guise of being helpful, but they really are trying to make sure you don't get too far ahead of them.
All of these (and more) are the result of a society and culture that does NOT value mindfulness ... and instead values "distraction."
And for some of us, it's a constant, daily harassment and stress inducer.
It makes our own attempts at a mindful life even more frustrating.
You know that your life is the result of many different factors.
All of these factors are part of the chaos of life that surrounds you.
These chaotic factors create fear, frustration, anxiety, anger, upset, unhappiness, stress, distress, and a lot of other "programmed reactions" that cause negativity in your life.
If you've done any mindfulness work or meditation in the past, you may have seen how your thoughts, feelings, words, and actions play an important role in creating problems in your life.
But those "inside" factors aren't your only concern.
Because unless you are a hermit living in a cave, your life is also affected by lots of "outside" factors: situations, events, environment, family, friends, strangers, society, institutions, corporations, governments, media ... even fate and luck.
Some of these factors you have some control over.
Some you have little control over.
But most you have absolutely NO control over.
Or do you?
What if there were a way you could get some control back, even over those parts of your life that seem out of your control?
What if there were a way you could live in a more "mindful world" with less stress, more joy, better relationships, and more control over your destiny?
And what if you could get all this mindfulness WITHOUT having to run away to Zen monastery, without having to meditate for hours a day, and without having to totally rearrange your life?
What if you could use an approach that works WITH the chaos of life around you, rather than forces you to struggle against it?

Hi, I'm Al Simon.
I'm a Mindfulness Leader, Chaos Energy Explorer, Zen Sherpa, Chi Master, author, and teacher.
I have been involved in meditation, mindfulness, and chi life energy for over thirty years, and I have authored eleven books on mindfulness.
I have been an avid practitioner and teacher of both Eastern-based mindfulness and Western esoteric mindfulness approaches.

A small butterfly can flap its wings in Brazil, and that little flapping can alter the weather on the planet enough to change the path of a tornado in Texas.
That may sound a bit far-fetched, but it's now an accepted principle in a branch of science and math known as "chaos theory."
The idea is that small changes in the "initial conditions" of a "chaotic system" can result in large scale changes in that system over time.
Well, your life is a chaotic system as well.
It includes a lot of "initial conditions" - everything from your "inner world" of thoughts, emotions, words, and actions to the "outer world" of the people, places, and events you encounter randomly each day.
So what if there was a way you could make small changes, ones that you could incorporate into your life as it is, that would result in big changes over time in your life and in the world around you?
I guess the question to ask yourself is ...
Do you want to continue to be blown around by the chaotic tornado forces that wreak havoc in your life, or do you want to learn how to flap your inner wings "just so" and gain some measure of control over the path those tornadoes take, or maybe even STOP them before they blow into your life at all?
The goal of Chaos Energy Mindfulness is to help you develop the rare skill of living in a mindful world when the "real world" around you seems chaotic and stressful.

Here's the deal.
I've created an online mindfulness training resource called the Mindful Masters Academy.
The Mindful Masters Academy is a monthly, online, training and "mastermind" group for people who are serious about bringing mindfulness into their lives.
This group takes a hard-nosed, uncompromising approach to mindfulness that features a mixture of philosophical, spiritual, and emotional insights, combined with practical applications of mindfulness for daily life.
The group features primarily lecture and discussion, but we also include insight exercises (mental exercises you can work into your life as it is) and the occasional meditation or chi life energy practice.
To be blunt though, the Mindful Masters Academy is not for everyone.
It's not about the wimpy, limp, politically correct "give you a hug and make you feel good about your hang-ups" type of mindfulness that you see on TV talk shows or on those cute calendars with pictures of Zen gardens on them.
Instead, your training at the Mindful Masters Academy is the hard-nosed, pull-no-punches, "I want to be mindful and accepting even when it's hard, so make it hard for me" type of mindfulness.
Our goal each month is to dig into some aspect of living mindfully, especially those areas that cause problems or that prevent us from being happy, successful, and mindful.

Each month, I want you to come away from our training and our masterminds with a unique insight or approach or practice for living mindfully that you can start using to make your life better right away, that very day.

These training sessions are created freshly each month, often in response to questions, comments, and feedback from our training group. In that way, we are responding to the exact needs and life situations of our group members.
These training sessions are delivered to you ONLINE in THREE different formats.
So each month, you'll have a choice.
You can WATCH the training session on VIDEO, you can LISTEN to the training on AUDIO, or you can READ the written TRANSCRIPT.
Do whichever best fits your learning style. And of course, you can do two or all three of these, because every member of the Academy gets immediate access to all three formats with their monthly training. All three are delivered to you by the 7th day of each month.
These monthly training sessions are the primary focus of our work at the online Mindful Masters Academy.
But the support for your mindfulness doesn't stop there.
Because for Gold and Platinum members of the Academy, we are also including three additional "mastermind" resources to help you with your new mindful life.
The first mastermind resource is access to our private Facebook mindfulness group.
This Facebook group is where you can interact with other members of the Academy to ask questions, get advice, and share experiences for your mutual growth and exploration.
Membership to this private FB group is strictly limited to Gold and Platinum members of our Academy. No one else on Facebook can get to it.
So you can be assured you are getting advice and experience only from me and from other members of our group, and not (to put it bluntly) the "mindless horde" you usually find in most Facebook groups.
Having difficulty with something in that month's audio session? Have a question about one of our practices? Or is there something going on in your life that requires a different perspective?
This private Facebook group is where you can get the help and advice you need on a day-to-day basis from me and from the group.
The Facebook group is a great way to interact with the other Academy members and with me between monthly sessions.
But we also have a second "mastermind" resource available to you to help and support you on your mindfulness path.
As a Platinum member of the Academy, you will also be invited to partake in LIVE ONLINE mastermind meetings with me and with the other Platinum members of the Academy.
Every four-to-six weeks or so, we will get together as a group in a live, online meeting.
At that meeting, you'll be able to ask me and the other Platinum members any questions you have and to get advice to help you create your more mindful world.
These meetings will be your chance to get direct, immediate answers and feedback from me as your Academy trainer and facilitator, and from the other Platinum members.
These will truly be mastermind sessions where you can tap into the collective experience of our entire group to get the help and support from our entire group.
That's the real value of a "mastermind" group - the ability to tap into a wide variety of experiences from others who are working towards the same mindful goals as you.
Of course, one of the problems with online meetings is that the members of our group live all over the world, all in different time zones with different schedules.
So depending on where you live, it may be hard for you to attend some or all of these mastermind meetings.
But we have got that covered for you with your third mastermind resource ...
Whenever we have a live, online meeting, I will record it, and within a few days of the meeting, I will make the recording available to all Platinum members of the Academy.
In that way, whether you are able to attend or not, you can download a recording of each mastermind meeting to keep for yourself and to watch any time you want to review it.
And if you know you are going to miss the live mastermind, but you have a question or need advice, just post your question ahead of time in the Facebook group or email it to me.
We'll cover your question live during the mastermind, and then a few days later, you can download the recording and get your answer!
